Dr. Sterling's Adult ADD Factbook is Out!
In addtion to the 2011 book, Dr. Sterling has published a 2013 update.
In addition, the exit from 405 north to SR-520 east and then to 124th Ave (to my office) has been changed, and it is confusing (welcome to the irrationality of WSDOT's engineering department). Please review the map at my office website to get details on how to use the correct lane for exiting to SR-520 and then to 124th Ave (the exit that gets you to my office). The wrong exit lane from I-405 to the 124th Exit will NOT LET YOU EXIT TO 124th. Wherever you see the 124th sign, follow it.
Click here to view notices about SR-520 bridge closures that may last a complete weekend and will require anyone who normally uses SR-520 to get to my office to use an alternate route -- usually I-90 East to 405 North to SR-520 East and, then, as usual take the 124th Ave Exit to my office. SR-520 closures are often tentatively scheduled, so you should check back to make sure such a closure has become a final decision.
Please check the 520 bridge closure web page before departing for a weekend appointment at Dr. Sterling's office, especially if you are traveling from Seattle to Bellevue.
With respect to new evaluations, second opinions, and diagnostic evaluations, Dr. Sterling recommends a 100-minute first evaluation appointment. This allows him and his client to get to a point in the evaluation process at which Dr. Sterling has obtained enough information to offer valid professional opinions about a client's core issues and probable diagnosis, if any. Dr. Sterling can also usually offer some recommendations and discuss potential treatment strategies during that first 100-minute evaluation appointment.
It is not required that you choose a 100-minute first appointment. If you are simply transferring from another provider situation or have recently moved or are anticipating moving and are very happy with your current treatment strategies, it is possible for Dr. Sterling to provide your follow-up care without doing a comprehensive "re-evaluation."

Have a great day!
